★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mi spiace lasciare una recensione negativa, in quanto i proprietari sono persone simpatiche e gentili. Il mio giudizio si riferisce al menu e al relativo prezzo. I prezzi sono elevati (ricordo che il locale è in mezzo al nulla) e la qualità media. La scelta poi è limitata a 3 primi e un paio di secondi, con scelte simili, quindi devi farteli piacere. Noi eravamo in 8 e abbiamo preso lo stesso primo. Sono arrivati due vassoi che riempivano metà piatto a testa. Gli altri che hanno ordinato al piatto lo avevano pieno del doppio! Mi è sembrata una furberia, non gradita. I vini sono da prezzi (non da selezione, non confondiamo) da Milano centro. Mi spiace, ripeto, per la gentilezza delle persone, ma non si può gestire un bistrot in mezzo alla campagna. Un'osteria deve essere, altrimenti crei solo persone scontente
 Sorry to leave a bad review, as the owners are nice and kind people. My opinion refers to the menu and its price. The prices are high (remember that the place is in the middle of nowhere) and the quality is average. The choice is then limited to 3 first courses and a couple of seconds, with similar choices, so you have to please them. We were 8 and we took the same first. Two trays arrived that filled each plate half. Others who ordered the dish had it double full! It seemed to me a mischief, unwelcome. The wines are from prices (not from selection, let's not confuse) from Milan center. I'm sorry, I repeat, for the kindness of the people, but you can't manage a bistro in the middle of the countryside. A tavern must be, otherwise you only create discontented people

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Provato in occasione di un pranzo domenicale in famiglia, trovato casualmente grazie alle recensioni favorevoli – durante un fine settimana in cui sembrava impossibile prenotare un tavolo in tutti i ristoranti delle Langhe e dintorni – abbiamo mangiato divinamente.
Piatti della tradizione piemontese preparati con cura e con ottime materie prime, sono rimasto colpito in particolare dai tajarin al ragù (i migliori mai mangiati) e dagli agnolotti ripieni con fonduta e tartufo.
Il luogo perfetto per chiunque voglia provare la vera cucina piemontese. Accoglienza impeccabile (personale gentilissimo e disponibile) e ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo (in media circa 30–35 € a persona).
Tried on the occasion of a Sunday lunch with the family, found by chance thanks to the favorable reviews - during a weekend when it seemed impossible to book a table in all the restaurants in the Langhe and surroundings - we ate divinely.
Traditional Piedmontese dishes prepared with care and with excellent raw materials, I was particularly impressed by the tajarin al ragù (the best ever eaten) and the agnolotti stuffed with fondue and truffle.
The perfect place for anyone who wants to try real Piedmontese cuisine. Impeccable welcome (very kind and helpful staff) and excellent value for money (on average around € 30–35 per person).

Staff very kind and helpful. Great food and wine. More secluded from the chaos of Alba in the truffle period, excellent for those who love Piedmontese authenticity.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quando sei in giro per le Langhe è veramente difficile sbagliare posto per mangiare e bere bene. Dopo aver visitato Barolo e La Morra, in una domenica mattina piovosa, ci siamo messi in macchina con il desiderio di avvicinarci al nostro agriturismo in zona Canelli e, strada facendo, abbiamo avuto voglia di fare tappa da qualche parte per assaggiare un po' di cucina tipica. Così, smanettando su Google, abbiamo deciso di chiamare questa trattoria per chiedere se si poteva pranzare. Mai scelta fu più casualmente azzeccata. Ora non sto a raccontarvi i particolari del mio pranzo e tutti i gusti provati e i profumi sentiti, ma vi faccio solo un breve elenco:
- tonnato di Fassona
- battuta di Fassona con parmigiano
- rollato di coniglio
- stracotto di vitello alla Barbera
Passate, gustate, godete e pagate.

When you're out and about in the Langhe it's really hard to miss a place to eat and drink well. After visiting Barolo and La Morra, on a rainy Sunday morning, we got into the car with the desire to get closer to our farmhouse in the Canelli area and, along the way, we wanted to stop somewhere to taste some traditional cuisine. So, fiddling with Google, we decided to call this restaurant to ask if we could have lunch. Never was a choice more casually appropriate. Now I'm not going to tell you the details of my lunch and all the tastes tried and the scents felt, but I'll just give you a short list:
- tonnato di Fassona
- Fassona tartare with parmesan
- rabbit roll
- Barbera-style veal stew
Pass, enjoy, enjoy and pay.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Proprietari gentili che per un orario di pranzo al limite ci hanno comunque accolti.
Abbiamo mangiato bene dall'ottimo risotto con formaggio Rocca Verano e agretti, allo stracotto di vitello abbastanza speziato ma più che buono, per finire con un buon semifreddo al torroncino.
Inoltre la gentilezza da parte della cameriera nel cambiare un antipasto del menù degustazione con uno diverso, per via della mie intolleranze compresa quella al glutine con tanto di grissini senza glutine, è degna di nota.
Molto apprezzati da parte della mia ragazza anche i grissini di benvenuto, soprattutto quelli più scuri, i più buoni che lei abbia mangiato.
Poi la ciliegina sono stati i due bicchierini di liquore alla nocciola offerti dal proprietario, SUPERLATIVI!
Buon rapporto qualità/prezzo e l'apparecchiatura è curata, in una sola parola Bravi!
Friendly owners who welcomed us anyway for a lunchtime at the limit.
We ate well from the excellent risotto with Rocca Verano cheese and agretti, to the overcooked veal quite spicy but more than good, to finish with a good nougat parfait.
In addition, the kindness on the part of the waitress in changing an appetizer from the tasting menu with a different one, due to my intolerances including gluten intolerances complete with gluten-free breadsticks, is noteworthy.
My girlfriend also appreciated the welcome breadsticks, especially the darker ones, the tastiest she has eaten.
Then the icing was the two glasses of hazelnut liqueur offered by the owner, SUPERB!
Good quality / price ratio and the equipment is taken care of, in one word Bravi!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bel posto a conduzione familiare trovato sulla strada del rientro da Alba verso Milano. Qualità prezzo altissima e tutti i piatti sono squisiti.
Consigli: domenica a pranzo andate presto e prenotate perché c'è sempre tantissima richiesta!
Nice family run place found on the way back from Alba to Milan. Very high price quality and all dishes are exquisite.
Advice: go early on Sunday for lunch and book because there is always a lot of demand!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ottimo ristorante in zona tranquilla. Parchetto esterno con giochi per bambini e piccolo areoporto dalla quale partono piccoli aerei o elicotteri. Il pranzo ha rispettato le aspettative. Piatti classici, con alcune piccole varianti nei gusti (per esempio la salsa del vitello tonnato), cucinati molto bene. Porzioni abbondanti ma non esagerate. Servizio molto gentile e veloce. Il conto é stato leggermente superiore a quanto pensavamo, ma comunque siamo usciti molto soddisfatti. Complimenti. Sicuramente un ristorante da provare.
Excellent restaurant in a quiet area. Outdoor park with games for children and a small airport from which small planes or helicopters depart. The lunch met expectations. Classic dishes, with some small variations in tastes (for example the veal sauce), cooked very well. Large portions but not exaggerated. Very kind and fast service. The bill was slightly higher than we thought, but still we left very satisfied. Well done. Definitely a restaurant to try.

We came across this trattoria by accident - and were pleased we did. Everything here was made from scratch. Just a few choices on the menu but all of them freshly prepared. Really outstanding. I ordered as a appetizer a plate of raw fassona knife minced meat with hazelnut oil and hazelnuts- simply delicious. Premium quality products, even two varieties of bread sticks made by local bakery, I really enjoyed this little attention to details. The main dish here was their home made pasta tajarin with meat sauce- definitely deserves high marks. A traditional trattoria that is rarely found. We will definitely come again. And last but not least - good wine list with reasonable prices. Highly recommended
