★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The kind of food that will put a silly smile on your face and maybe even cause a tear to sit in the corner of your eye. It felt like the Ratatouille moment, please come here if you appreciate your food being something more than just tasty. I salute Monica, who must stand up at an ungodly hour to start lovingly shaping Agnolotti and slow-roasting meat in red wine. In hindsight, I regret wasting an evening in Govone on the god awful attempt at high cuisine, a.k.a. Ristorante Le Scuderie del Castello di Govone (a more pompous, rude, dissapointing exoerience I think would be difficult to find). Next time I'm there, I plan to eat every meal I possibly can at the Pautassi's!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In one word: AMAZING! Best pasta we ever had in Italia, together with some great wines, for very very affordable prices! And then the owner, what a beautiful charming character! In our 4 day visit of Piemonte we've been here twice! We will definitely return!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent Piemontese food. Tradition perfectly executed with an unbelievable view. The wine selection is perfect, no matter what you choose, you will be blow away. The service was very good, Luis is super nice and very attentive.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Super good restaurant! The homemade pasta is a must try, hand made by owner’s wife. it’s delicious. Ravioli is also homemade. We came during white truffle season, it’s 650 Euro/kg, a fair price in the region. I also recommend their beef tribe dish for those who fancy tribes! Dessert is also great, you have to try their semi-Freddie, they have 2 kinds, we got the one with nuts, so good. And their sorbet is home made, with all kinds of herbs, very refreshing!!
