★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As a single woman travelling on my own it's daunting enough, so rather glad when I saw a group of ladies having a drink outside this restaurant. Other than that it was empty. I stopped and asked if I could have a drink and the owner looked at me in horror, refused to even guess at what I was asking, before the waitress stepped in and dispatched me to the ice cream parlour across the street. If they wanted me to buy food, or they were closed they should just say but they didn't. So very rude. Handled so badly. Avoid if you're not fluent in Italian. Shame, everyone else I've met here has been lovely.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic local trattoria. Locals dine here, which is always a good indication that is a good place to eat. Owners very attentive and friendly. Food good quality and reasonably priced. Well placed if you are staying in any of the centrally located hotels.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Exactly the sort of local Italian place you look for and spend hours looking for, but rarely find. Perfect for lunch. I popped in for lunch and had fantastic homely pasta ravioli with tomato bacon sauce and side salad. Then tiramisu and espresso. The lady host, friendly and speaking excellent English, took her time to explain the menu. It's probably grandma cooking in the kitchen. Really recommend!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stumbled upon this restaurant just by chance as the location is just 2 mins away from the hotel we were staying at. We loved it so much we were back the next day and again. Had 3 lovely dinner. The restaurant owner was so kind, friendly and such a good host. Food was fresh and tasty too. I only write reviews if it's 5 stars to my experience. This restaurant is definitely worth the 5 stars. Fully recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place to eat. Traditional food, with a great welcoming host. We enjoyed every moment here. Good food and even if we where not being able to speak italian and the host english, we trust the waiter's recomandations.
We where not disappointed. The food and the wine was great.
One thing to take in consideration.....ask about the price. Don't get me wrong, the food is great but for the launch in the picture and 1 antipasti for 2 persons.....80 euro. That's not cheap in my opinion.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beware!!!! Do not eat here!!! We found this place while visiting Montecatini and were thrilled to try a local mom and pops type restaurant. When it was time to pay we were told it was cash only. Because we had to scramble for cash, being prepared to pay with plastic we did not question our tab, and paid it, no questions asked. We were charged 130 euros, for a meal that totaled around 60 euros. No wonder it was cash only! No record of the transaction either. They totally took advantage of us and robbed us. Not tourist friendly and not an honest place of business.
