β β β β β Staff excellent, our bedroom very good, on the back of the hotel, floor 3, disappointing to arrive at the hotel TO DISCOVER THAT THE AIR CONDITIONING WAS NOT WORKING WHICH LADTED FOR 2 DAYS No apology from management, NO FANS for the bedooms, and it didn't appear to matter, when repaired still remains poor, with NO individual adjustment. Per room. Out of date equipment, lovely hotel but needs updating,

β β β β β An old but typical Italian elegant hotel; rooms small and mirrored to give larger feel. Shower room modernised with marble and effective painted walls (appreciated the trouble setting out painted strips). With tour, so meals set and although 4 course dinner just passable; poor vegetarian selection offered for main (sometimes not on menu) Dining room large and ornate and large conservatory restaurant. Pleasant lounge areas and comfortable outside shared seating area. Main gripe is the hotel has NO swimming pool although web page shows picture's that implies it would have. Wanted relaxed holiday break of one day out on tour one day around pool which we were unable to do. Feel out every day on tours too strenuous. Went on funicular railway to higher village. Good views, worth doing but watch out for overcharging in end cafe/restaurant. 27 Euros for very poor 2 flat wraps and Cola's. Cola's here as expensive as prosecco.

β β β β β The hotel is not child friendly. We booked 4 beds room with 2 kids, when we arrive we were asked to pay extra, they counted the kids as adults!
Room was on the Main Street and very loud. Avoid at all cost!
