★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Una bella visita alla torre dell'orologio dove si può ammirare una splendida vista su Piazza Maggiore. Il biglietto di €8 include anche una collezione di quadri di pittori ed artisti bolognesi piuttosto interessante. Da migliorare le indicazioni per raggiungere l'entrata alla visita oltre al fatto che alcune sale espositive rimangono molto poco illuminate e si fatica ad ammirare i quadri. Consigliata la visita!!
 A nice visit to the clock tower where you can admire a splendid view of Piazza Maggiore. The € 8 ticket also includes a rather interesting collection of paintings by Bolognese painters and artists. The indications to reach the entrance to the visit should be improved as well as the fact that some exhibition rooms remain very poorly lit and it is difficult to admire the paintings. Visit recommended !!

Da aprile 2021 è finalmente possibile visitare la torre dell'orologio di Palazzo d'Accursio!! Con un unico biglietto (8 euro), che vi darà accesso anche alle collezioni d'arte comunali custodite nel palazzo, avrete la possibilità di ascoltare l'audioguida scaricabile e salire, salire, salire. Le scale vi condurranno al terrazzo merlato, accanto agli ingranaggi interni e... Davanti ai vostri occhi si apriranno splendidi scorci panoramici con visuali poetiche che vi accompagneranno fin sotto alla lanterna. Tutte le iconiche torri di Bologna si staglieranno davanti a voi come in un grande plastico; vedrete via D'Azeglio, piazza Maggiore, San Luca e i colli: un ottimo punto di partenza o di arrivo per il vostro tour di questa meravigliosa città.

Tip: the visit can be improved with some more interactive and multimedia content (photos or reconstruction of the ancient wooden automatons .. sound of the bells ....) !!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La miglior veduta del centro di Bologna, imperdibile. I biglietti di acquistano a Bologna Welcome sotto al portico di fronte a San Petronio. La salita è agevole fino alla terrazza merlata. Eccellenti pannelli esplicativi illustrano la storia della torre nei secoli in italiano e inglese. Salendo all'ultimo terrazzino sotto l'orologio si vede il.meccanismo del.pendolo.in funzione.
The best view of the center of Bologna, unmissable. Tickets can be purchased at Bologna Welcome under the portico in front of San Petronio. The climb is easy to the embattled terrace. Excellent explanatory panels illustrate the history of the tower over the centuries in Italian and English. Going up to the last terrace under the clock you can see the mechanism of the pendant in operation.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il biglietto della visita include anche il museo, costo 8€, ridotto 5€. Si trova al secondo piano (consiglio l'uso dell'ascensore che si trova all'interno perché le scale sono abbastanza scomode). Il biglietto è acquistabile online oppure in piazza di fronte alla basilica. Salite le scale si può ammirare una prima terrazza, salendo ancora si dovrà firmare un foglio per poter salire sulla torre in quanto le scale sono di legno, molto ripide ma da cui si può ammirare una bellissima vista della città.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bella esperienza. Siamo saliti alla mattina ( le visite iniziano dalle 10) in una giornata nuvolosa ma con sprazzi di sole. Per accedere è necessario prenotare i biglietti in anticipo dal sito internet o presso bolognawelcome (8 intero 5 ridotto). Le scale non sono tante ma per il secondo terrazzo sono ripide. Nel biglietto oltre alla visita alla torre è compreso l'ingresso alla collezione comunale d'arte. La particolarità della terrazza è la sensazione di avere la città a portata di mano.
Good experience. We went up in the morning (visits start at 10) on a cloudy day but with flashes of sunshine.
