β β β β β The beach area was nice and directly at the tower there was also a life guard but there were some dirt leading around. Not nice!
Only at the parking place are trash bins, so carry your trash and put it in there.
For an additional amount you can drive half way via a boat, but in my opinion it made no sense. By foot it just took 20 min.
Parking place was 5β¬. Some other wrote it is for free. Maybe we had to pay because we were foreign people, you never know.

β β β β β this beach of the Roman coast and one of the most beautiful and wild, is located immediately after the city of Neptune. air to the public only in July / August and weekends in September, free parking, once you arrive you have to walk for about 2 km in the pine forest, to get to the most beautiful cove! there are no refreshments.
possibility of underwater fishing. also suitable for children!
crystal clear sea.
to arrive by car, take the road (pontina)
exit at (borgo montello) from there continue with the directions!

β β β β β One of my favourite places to spend a day on the beach without moving too far from Rome (about 1 hour and half by car).
From the main parking, in order to reach the tower, simply keep right and walk through all that beautiful Mediterranean vegetation, that also gives you a stunning view on the sea. Also, if the weather is good enough, you might be able to see Circeo, an island that lays not so far from this location.
I definitively suggest that you spend the entire day here but keep in mind that the free parking closes at about 7PM! Cheers

β β β β β The place is not typical at all. With the tower and the walls remained in the water it is really peculiar. The beach is made of pink sand but it is not very clean though. Free parking available close to the road, but need to walk 30 min to reach the tower. The forest to be crossed on the way to the seaside is absolutely amazing.

β β β β β Fantastic adventure beach within a historic ruin. The place is super difficult to reach, but it's worth it. No overcrowding. The water is super clear. We did have a ton of jellyfish while swimming around the tower ruins - so avoid swimming there in the summer. Just great.

β β β β β Nature reserve, therefore with restricted opening times and days. Inform yourself ahead. From the parking lot still a 20 min walk. Expect dunes, shell littered beach, under water ruins of a fortress and the possibility to lay down in the shade of trees. Don't expect catering or sanitary installations.
