È possibile visitare la torre solo nel periodo di apertura del parcheggio: luglio e agosto, tutti i giorni, ore 8 - 19; settembre solo nel fine settimana. Dal parcheggio parte sentiero di circa 2.5 km per Torre astura che è un piccolo maniero medioevale. Volendo una barchetta vi porta lungo in canale e circa 900 m dalla meta e il viaggio è bello. Sia le costruzioni che la zona sono demaniali in forza alla difesa. Mare meraviglioso, pineta fantastica. Purtroppo in semiabbandono e il grave è inciviltà dei visitatori che abbandonano monnezza senza riguardo. Per fortuna ogni tanto passa un suv dell'esercito con funzione di controllo. It's not really a guarded parking place, they were sitting the whole time inside there hut. The ground was flat, no holes and enough space. Everything fine!
