★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our 1st trip to Florence. Although we didn't purchase anything at this store, the young mab who runs it is amazing. He was extremely knowledgable about each and every product, he took the time to explain the process used to produce every beautiful peice of leather in the store and he was not pretentious about it at all, which we ran into often while shopping. Not if, but WHEN we return we will be looking for him and spending good $$ with him. Had we been on a mission for jackets and coats, we would go no place else. If in Florence you absolutely MUST pay a visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Well, I am presently awaiting their response on belts they sold me that were supposed to be 3 x 36 inch belts. They only had 1 so the owner said he would cut the others to size. He appeared to not measure the belt so I asked him if he was sure they were the same size. “Madam, I do this for a living” and he quickly bagged them. Sadly, I trusted him and when wrapping them for xmas gifts have discovered all 3 are different lengths and the 2 that he cut are too short. I then had my husband try his on.... too short. I emailed and received a quick reply that the belts have several holes so adjust them. Duh..... the belt is in the last hole... it is too short. I emailed back but as yet no reply. We will see if they replace the belts. These are not cheap belts. I paid 27 euros each. I sincerely hope this company makes good on their error. 54 euros wasted otherwise and no Christmas belt for a son in law and husband.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Spent a week in Florence and took my time looking around. I talked to many people and wanted to make sure I was not getting cheap knock offs. I went into Toro twice and they were very knowledgeable and proud of their process in production. They were very fair in pricing but made it known to people who were just out for the cheap stuff that was not them. I listened to many people try to get items for pretty much nothing! If you want cheap go to the market for the things not really made in Italy. I would return again! Love my purchases. Many thanks!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been looking all over Florence for an authentic, italian leather purse at a fair price and had little luck at the san lorenzo market. I just stumbled upon this shop, ended up looking at reviews (which were great) and I walked in. The staff was SO helpful and kind, they took the time to tell me about their products and what made each one unique and made the overall experience very pleasant. Walked out of there with a purse and I am very happy with my purchase! This isn't a cheap store, but you will definitely be getting what you pay for here. 10/10 would reccommend

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We spent a lot of time walking Florence looking for new coats. Almost every store told you they were “Italian made”, then offered you 30% off the totals. We heard every story (sleeves will get longer over time, jackets will stretch, all the leather is from Italian cows, sheep and even the “antelope”). Then, when you said no, the other stores would ask you “what would it take for you to buy now”. BUT NOT TORO! They took a lot of time, made sure we liked the products (their leather is very nice) and then we discussed prices. No pressure, no sales gimmicks. I found them to be honest, and customer focused. If you are going to buy leather in Florence, stop here for sure!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A couple of years ago, I have bought a beautiful bag. The attachment of the handle has come loose and I have lost it. I can see that they are still used. My husband has spoken with someone from Toro at Facebook. He promised help. 4 weeks ago. We even WhatsApped with Toro. No answer. I can not use the bag anymore. I think the bags are beautiful, but the service is very bad.
