β β β β β The cashier was cheating on price! he scanned the items one by one, afterwards another a few Euros are added into the total price from nowhere, we questioned the price, the cashier showed strong angry and refused to provide receipt in the end! A disgusting shop, Do Not Buy things here, Tourists!!!

β β β β β As a tourist you are basically robbed. They take advantage and charge you things you did not buy, and/or charge twice for the same thing.
That put aside, the supermarket is very expensive and has limited choice.
I also heard local people having bad experience there.
And it's not about the lost 2-3 euros, payed for nothing. It's about them making you feel like a fool or idiot, who they can mess up with...
My advice: avoid shopping there, unless all supermarkets in Florence are closed and you are about to starve...

β β β β β Wow, a store with these tactics should be shut down. I had a similar experience as the reviews we are reading. No prices for the drinks I bought were posted, but the scan showed the following rounded prices:
1.5L water (not even cold) = 1.50β¬
0.5L Gatorade = 3 β¬
O.33L San pelligrino = 2 β¬
Total for these drinks that are already too overpriced from any other grocery in Florence should have been 6.50β¬, but the lady at counter told us 7.50β¬. Lies! I did not do my math because in my mind I was already thinking about not getting the Gatorade for that price. I made the mistake of paying. When I checked my credit card charge, it said 8.36 β¬ !!!
The story goes on... after realizing all this I go back to cashier, who was busy cheating the customers behind us, to verify the price of the drinks. She quotes me numbers different than what the register said. I then ask to return the Gatorade and she starts saying that I can't. I start to complain to her about everything and she suddenly pretends she doesn't understand English. After making a small scene I leave. Afterwards, the customers behind me talked to me and said she was trying to cheat them as well.
Yeah, it's just a few euros. But it hurts me to think that these crooks are making a good chunk of extra money every day by scamming every customer this way. Everyone with a similar experience should attempt to file a quick report with the local police. I will call the police tomorrow about this.

- Shelf prices are already incredibly high
- At the cash desk they are even higher
- They still give you less change than the wrong cash desk price would indicate

This shop does not deserve even one Star. Their business is not honest. Softdrinks prices are higher than in the hotel mini bar and higher than a restaurant. They also charge you a cold drink fee. Which is outrageous. It was my first shopping in the city. When I saw prices around the center I realized they are taking advantage of the tourists who think they are shopping cheaper at a supermarket. Water price was 1.50 Euros for a liter. Small Fanta 2.79Euros + 0.50 Euros cold drink fee. Next to the Dome you can get it for 1.80 Euros or sitting down at a nice resturant or cafe for 3 euros.
Do Not Shop There! It's not supermarket prices.

β β β β β Bought 2 small drinks, 1 large water, 1 shower, 1 shampoo, 1 small bag of pasta, 1 hair brush for 45 euros. Complete rip off. Stay away! Marked up prices as it is next to a tourist spot.
