★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is so beautiful and beautiful, but it is no longer the real Sicily! Bar, pub and disco too weird !! This was a "fishing place" where you could hear, touch and smell the sea. Where the sky mingled with the earth and the cries of the children who helped you projected you in 1930, with the genuineness of the freshly caught fish to be enjoyed amid the sound of the waves.
I hope everything comes back like the ancient splendor of 20 years ago.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Picturesque village, but the real tonnara is closed and little informations are available. Even worse, it has become a tourist trap, with high prices and low quality food. I'm tempted to say "avoid", but it'd be a pity to miss some interesting photo opportunities.

I can't understand how, even though this restaurant is right by the sea, the quality of the fish is beyond poor.
I had just couple of bites of my main because of was hungry, but I couldn't have more as it was Inedible.
Although I left almost all of it they made me pay full price, and it wasn't cheap.
Avoid at all cost.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A place so beautiful that it seems a fake, but I don't think it is, it is certainly well kept and it honors the past and the present... at every step.
It is enchanting from sunrise to sunset, here you can breathe the flavor of Sicily and Italy.
In the restaurants around there then the cuisine and the flavors are so wonderful.
It is a day that I will never forget.
