β β β β β Nice Place for drinks! No super cheap, but directly at the square - under the umbrellas, nice little plant and a travellers book on every wooden table, a cold drink and a breeze, thatβs the life : ) PS. No ice in the margaritas, but still good!

β β β β β Honestly, this place was kind of meh. This plate is their βkeyβ one and it was a bit underwhelming.
EDIT:
I appreciate the restaurant's response to my original review. I would like to add that it was not fair of me to judge the entire restaurant based on a single plate. Often, one does not know a restaurant until one either tastes their bread or tries one of their dishes. Perhaps their other menu offerings are good, I do not know. I do appreciate the long traditions of the region.
To the restaurant:
We do recommend improving your server response times to the new guests:
- we sat at your restaurant at a slow time (3:30pm) and yet we had to wait for 10 minutes until your waiter acknowledged us.
- we waited for about 15 minutes to get our plate, which did not require any cooking. Okay, we understand it takes time.

β β β β β We had lunch here. A salad made of different fishes (very tasty and fresh), a pair of birra Messina, a cheesecake made of sicilian lemon (I do not recommend because itΒ΄s seems not to be handmade) two coffees and a amaro amaretto. Nice place, nice waiters and food ok. I would go back.

β β β β β Located in the historical center of the town is one of the best places to try local cuisine. Freshly fished tuna is really great. Restaurant is lovely and cozy inside but I recommend getting table outside to enjoy mesmerising view of the city plaza.

β β β β β Love love love this spot in the plaza! Not only with a great shop but great location. The staff was friendly & ready to serve you. Food was good & quickly delivered. The decor is bohemian chic & is just s great charming spot to enjoy a bite, drink, dessert or s full meal. Trust me when you see it, you'll know which one it is.

β β β β β Prologo e Romanzo, an amazing sequence of dishes. Great and competent Valentina who described the dishes to us. A plause to the chef for the preparation and presentation.
Caponata, tasting of tuna products, baked amberjack and swordfish au gratin. A good Grillo wine to drink along with the dishes delighted the evening. Congratulations, highly recommended, also for the good value for money.
