An old noble farm house, beautifully renovated, with a lot of space. Downside: at night you can't enjoy the beauty of the place, you have to be in the room.

I asked for a room with a bathtub and even though the hotel was practically empty they wouldn’t give me a different room without charging me more for it. The place was a little less charming than it is in the photos and felt a little run down. The location is good though.

I stayed at Villa Giulia last week for only a few days for work. The place was perfect in every sense of the word. From the warm and welcoming beginning to the wonderful delicious meals to the beautiful suite I stayed in. The place has an interesting history, and is filled with exquisite touches from the past while living in the present. The owner Anna Maria is not only available, warm and flexible, but her influence is felt throughout the place and she is environmentally conscious. When leaving you feel like you have stayed at an old friends house who took the best care of you. I will definitely come back to explore the many sites around the Villa and to relax and swim in the magnificent pool.

Well located near the beaches. The old buildings are quite romantic, the rooms well decorated and reminiscent of rural Sicily. Very good service, with the owner ready to help & advise if needed. Nice big pool, lots of olive trees and flowers. One of our favourite hotels, we come back year after year.

Overall it was a good stay. The rooms and badrooms are generally all good. Wifi great, every where. Restaurant is good, but I recommend eating outside the hotel in nearby restaurants. Staff personal are all very friendly but the head woman not so much. The beach is 2.5km away.

The property is gorgeous, very well maintained and picturesque. This review is only about the restaurant. We were a group of 10, and tried almost everything on the menu. The food was eat or miss. The appetizers were good, but all the pastas were bland, and the portions vastly uneven: one guest got about two forkfuls of spaghetti, while another got an overflowing dish. The service was terrible: we waited a really long time to order and the food came late and mostly cold. Even the payment experience was a throwback to the 80's... the front desk lady spent 20 minutes to work on our check, with paper and pencil... and calculator! Overall, it seems that management cares a lot about the property and they do an excellent job, but they have no interest in providing a dining experience that matches expectations from such a property.
