★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Grandiose queste Terme, le maggiori di Ostia, costruite attorno alla metà del II secolo d.C. con un amplissimo frigidarium, le stanze per i bagni di sole, per la sauna ed i bagni caldi, una grande palestra e, meraviglia, una biblioteca. In determinate fasce orarie erano aperte anche alle donne, come è provato dal ritrovamento di innumerevoli spilloni per capelli. Da ammirare le alte colonne rimaste ed i fastosi capitelli corinzi.
These Baths are grandiose, the largest in Ostia, built around the middle of the 2nd century AD with a very large frigidarium, rooms for sunbathing, sauna and hot baths, a large gym and, wonder, a library. In certain time slots they were also open to women, as evidenced by the discovery of innumerable hair pins. To admire the remaining tall columns and the sumptuous Corinthian capitals.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing place, you can see here many hidden sites, likes undergrounds where you walk following the old sewage systems as well as the ovens below the bath. At some points you can see the cracks on the ground which allows to glimpse the basements of the bath.
On the south west of this building you can see the latrines which are still up and in a quit good condition.
You clearly spend a ling time there...
