★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sono le terze terme di Ostia Antica in ordine di grandezza e dette anche della Marciana per via di una grande statua della sorella dell'Imperatore Traiano che vi fu ritrovata. Rimasero in funzione per quattro secoli fino all'epoca di Teodorico, a testimonianza della lunga vitalità del quartiere, posto a pochi metri dall'allora costa del mare. Interessanti i mosaici pavimentali, che rappresentano atleti premiati e scene marine.
They are the third thermal baths of Ostia Antica in order of size and also called the Marciana because of a large statue of the sister of Emperor Trajan who was found there. They remained in operation for four centuries until the time of Theodoric, testifying to the long vitality of the neighborhood, located a few meters from the then sea coast. Interesting floor mosaics, which represent award-winning athletes and marine scenes.
