★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Panorami eccezionali, qualche ambiente del castello particolarmente suggestivo, vegetazione curata e variegata. Bisogna visitarlo con lo stato d'animo giusto, entrare in sintonia con gli ambienti che lo compongono ed allora gli oggetti per la tortura, il carcere borbonico, la camera mortuaria delle suore, la terrazza degli ulivi ecc.. avranno un senso, altrimenti si rischia di vedere solo un rudere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Un tempo fu il giardino del Castello. Da qui l'occhio spazia per 300 gradi dai Monti Lattari al Golfo di Gaeta e sulla trasparenza del mare.
Si ammirano dall'esterno le imponenti torri angioine. Fu ricostruito nel 1441 da Alfonso D'Aragona che lo regalò a Lucrezia d'Alagno, la bella popolana di Torre del Greco, della quale si era invaghito.
