★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Si tratta di vere e proprie terme urbane costruite tra il Dianae fons e il fiume Ippari. Furono studiate per la prima volta nel 1935 dagli archeologi Biagio Pace ed E. Erias e portate alla luce nel 1989. Alimentate un tempo dalla fonte Diana, hanno origine in epoca romana (sec II-III d.C.) e furono utilizzate fino al periodo bizantino. Le tre campagne di scavi hanno messo il luce il tepidarium, un grande ninfeo poligonale, un alveus, il calidarium.
È stato inoltre rinvenuto un raffinato pavimento a mosaico costituito da tessere di bianco calcare compatto e tessere nere di basalto raffigurante Nettuno, attorniato da due gruppi di Nereidi cavalcanti dei tritoni.
These are real urban spas built between the Dianae fons and the Ippari river. They were studied for the first time in 1935 by archaeologists Biagio Pace and E. Erias and brought to light in 1989. Once fed by the Diana source, they originate in Roman times (2nd-3rd century AD) and were used until the Byzantine period. The three excavation campaigns have brought to light the tepidarium, a large polygonal nymphaeum, an alveus, the calidarium.
A refined mosaic floor was also found consisting of compact white limestone tiles and black basalt tiles depicting Neptune, surrounded by two groups of Nereids riding tritons.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Un peccato che il mosaico non sia protetto da un vetro. Il comune dovrebbe attivarsi per proteggere un simile gioiellino e non dovrebbe permettere che venga usato come posacenere. Ulteriori dubbi rimangono sugli interventi di riparazione eseguiti.
A pity that the mosaic is not protected by a glass. The municipality should take steps to protect such a gem and should not allow it to be used as an ashtray. Further doubts remain about the repairs carried out.
