★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a wonderful tour & tasting with one of the owner, Miriam. During the "private" tour we had the opportunity to learn all about the wine making process and ask many questions. Their biological wines has a lot of charactere and of high quality. This is the perfect place to taste local wines in a lovely setting.

Such a treat to meet this wonderful family and such an honour to get the tour right from the owner. The degustation was splendid and the entire experience overall unforgettable. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There are many wineries to choose from in Montepulciano and my fiancée and I were so glad we picked this one. If you’re looking for a big commercialized tour then this place is not for you. Here, we felt truly valued and our guide was so friendly and helpful to answer any questions we may have had. The tasting experience was top notch, so great that we bought a case to have ship backed to the States. This is a place we would love to return to when we are back in Tuscany!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Popped in without a reservation and was promptly meeted at the door by someone who didn't look real happy we were there. Boy, were we wrong!
Although they were busy and couldn't give a tour, which we didn't have time for anyhow, our hostess, Kathy welcomed us and provided a fantastic seated tasting. Kathy is from Toronto, and was extremely informative and fun to talk with. Knowing very little Italian, it was nice to carry on a casual conversation without it being work.
We didn't purchase any wine directly from the winery but we did from an enoteca in Montepulciano. All in all a fun visit and worth the excursion.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A really great experience , we went for a tour of the vineyard and a wine tasting and it could not be better. The tour lady had a great carisma and gave us an amazing explanation of the vineyard family history and the way how they make the wine.
We tasted few bottles with a little nibble and they were amazing.
After we took a walk around the vineyard and we met Miriam’s husband which is one of the owner, really polite and smiling.
Highly recommended.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Juliano & Svetla were amazing!! This was our first wine tour & tasting and we're not exactly conesours so we are very thankful for the time that Juliano & Svetla were with us. Juliano showed the property and explained about growing and storing wine. Svetla helped us with the tasting understanding how to pair wines. Having now done a couple tours/tasting at other places I can appreciate the experience at Valdipiatta was the best we had by a lot. Amazing property and they literally spent a couple hours with us alone to explain and answer questions. This winery is doing it right: BIO (organic) in addition to DOCG vino nobile de Montepulciano. The wine is delicious and this is the type of family operation we should all be supporting. Thank you for the unique and caring experience!! Would recommend the trip and the wine for everyone.
