★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If I could give higher rating I would. In this time period it was hard to find a winery for tasting and visiting the vineyard. Personnel is very kind and it was nice and enriching talk about wine and vineyard with our guide. She even agreed on making us taste different wines than the usual ones as we requested. Very good wines consistent with the area (vino nobile and San giovedì), but also new ones such as Sauvignon Blanc and merlot

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Vine tasting was very good, food amazing, service nice, beautiful view for Tuscany from restaurant, big plus also for letting us see how and where the vine is made.
One thing in our opinion vine is a bit over priced.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We visited this wine producer alongside other known ones in the area e.g. Poliziano montemercurio tre Rose etc. The staff was difficult about trying wines for buy. They seem to incentivize touristy wine tasting instead. They asked us to try maximum 2 wines. We ended up negotiating to 3. Maybe we were unlucky, but we were unimpressed by their taste in relation to other nobili tried of the area. We ended up buying only 2 low end bottles.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I booked a tour through Air bnb followed by wine tasting and lunch for my girlfriend's birthday.
The staff was really exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The tour was very interesting and informative, the grounds very well maintained and luxurious. The home cooked food was excellent and the wine exquisite.
The view is absolutely priceless.
We had a perfect day and will be happy to return. Absolute recommendation!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Easily one of the most beautiful wineries in Tuscany. Reopened in 2021, Vallocaia features a state of art cellar, extensive art collection and new restaurant that let's you enjoy a breathtaking view on Montepulciano. Check out their Antenata, I Quadri and Gemella wines.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful winecellar (newly opened) with spectacular views over the quiet, Tuscan landscape. They also have wine tasting menu's that look delicious. The staff is very warm, friendly and funny. You'll feel very welcome. Besides the wonderfull wine there is also a lot of beautiful art around and the building itself is spectacular. One of the best places in the area I think. We definitely recommend going here!
