β β β β β The property is located in a beautiful area outside of Montepulciano. Our room was comfortable and cozy. We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast each morning, which consisted of the usual cereal, yogurt, fruit, but also amazing homemade cakes.
We took a cooking class while there. Giacomo is extremely knowledgeable about how foods are grown/raised and processed. We really learned a lot. We also created a delicious meal with his guidance. The recipes were sent to us, so we can use them at home.
Thank you Giacomo and Cristiana for a great authentic Italian experience!

β β β β β I canβt say enough great things about this cooking class. This agriturismo is in a 1000 year house, and Giacomoβs family has been there for 7 generations. He cares about food, and he and his wife are fantastic teachers.
This class would be equally beneficial to someone with no experience or someone with quite a bit. Iβve made pasta many times, but learned so many great pro tips. But a complete beginner could go home and make a spectacular meal from this class.
I did some research before booking this, and the 100% 5 star reviews are there for a reason.
If I could do this trip again, I would also stay at the agriturismo. The place is beautiful. I did the cooking class my second to last day in Tuscany and decided to stay my last night at the place. It is worth a visit!!

β β β β β We loved our stay in this quaint Agriturismo! It was close to the town of Montepulciano (about 2 miles). I loved our privacy and the quiet of just sitting on the patio overlooking the vineyards and groves. The cooking class and dinner is a must....so fun, informative and the most delicious meal we had on our entire trip! Got to try the homemade wine which was magnifico! Nonna's breakfast was also delicious with all her homemade baked goods, jams and honey. Giacomo, Christina and Nonna are wonderful!! Highly recommend staying here!

β β β β β Giacomo and Cristiana were so welcoming as we arrived at the farm house. After traveling for almost a week between Venice and Florence, it was nice to come to the country side and take in the more simpler lifestyle of Montepulciano. Our most memorable experience from our 12 day trip to Italy was definitely the cooking class we took with Giacomo and Cristiana. Giacomoβs passion for cooking shone through in this class. We learned so much about different ingredients and about simplifying meals so more time can be enjoyed with family rather than in the kitchen for hours. The courses we prepared in this class were simplistic but so flavorful and truly authentic to the culture. My husband and I stayed on the farm for 3 nights and were so pleased with all Giacomo and Cristiana offered. We would highly recommend staying at their farm and taking a cooking class. We hope to travel back in the future!

β β β β β We spent a month at Le Caggiole using it as a home base to explore small towns of Tuscany. It was perfect for our needs. We fell in love with the area and the host family. Giacomo, Christina, Catarina and Mama became our family. Things important for us are a nice comfortable bed, a good shower, a hair dryer and Internet all of which we had. A few internet issues but we were always able to access sometimes with some effort. Giacomo could not do enough to try to help in every way. The cooking class was great especially getting to eat all the great food we made. We were lucky enough to get to participate in some of the evening meals offered when there are six guests. Food awesome. We had the apartment with an incredible view and the ability to do some cooking which was nice since we were there for so long. Our goal was to explore small towns and Giacomo totally helped with this. Mamas fabulous pastries and baked goods for breakfast were incredible but we just could not do that everyday for a month. Yogurt and cereals also offered. Note if you are looking to stay at a 4 seasons with TV and room service this is not your place. If you are looking to really experience "real" Tuscan living and their small towns you can't go wrong staying here.

β β β β β We had an incredible stay at Agriturismo Le Caggiole. The room was clean, simple, and comfortable. We enjoyed countless glasses of red wine sitting on the terrace and welcomed the quiet, beautiful, views as a respite from sightseeing and big cities. The cooking class was so fun and the meal one of our best during our three weeks in Europe. We ate the meal around a large dining table with two other couples we'd never met. It was such a lovely time together that we decided to have dinner together in town the following evening as well. These two nights were a major highlight of our trip and only happened as a result of the way Giacomo runs his guest rooms. This is a simple, authentic, stunningly beautiful place to stay. Perfect if you're looking for accommodations that are not catered to tourists and more true to the spirit of the Tuscan countryside. Also, Giacomo's wine is absolutely fantastic.

β β β β β We loved our stay at Le Caggiole. I highly recommend to take the cooking lessons. The dishes Giacomo selected were delicious and the wine he made was the perfect compliment to the meal. The room from our room was amazing (Tuscany hills). This is the closest to a traditional Italian experience we have ever had. I highly recommend to stay 2-3 nights and visit Montepulciano (closest town). We will definitely come back again and stay more days.

β β β β β My fiance and I attended Giacomo and Cristiana's 3-hour pasta and tiramisu cooking class in May 2022 and it was absolutely fantastic! Not only was this experience our favorite during our 10-day trip in Italy, but it was also one of our favorite experiences throughout all of our travels.
The highlight was how personal and welcoming Giacomo and his family was. The class is designed to be small and the experience feels like a celebration of the love of Italian cooking. It was a truly authentic learning experience, as Giacomo was a wonderful teacher and we could see how much passion he has in his craft. During the cooking class, we experienced not only detailed hands-on demonstrations of family pasta-making techniques of pappardelle and pici, but Giacomo was very thorough in explaining the importance of ingredients and providing detailed tips and explanations, that we've never experienced in more standardized classes.
Afterwards, Giacomo and family prepared 2 wonderfully delicious pasta dishes from the pappardelle and pici we made, along with the tiramisu, and topped it off with wine pairings (Giacomo is also a sommelier), for a complete end-to-end experience.
We've already started raving about this experience to family and friends to visit if they visit Montepulciano and would highly recommend!
