Unfortunately the tour of the day I went it was just in Italian but I decided to attend it anyway just bc I wanted to see the theatre. The price was 6.50 euros.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unfortunately there was no program while we were there, but still we did the English tour which lasted for an hour. Amazing, stunning is the least I can say about this theatre. I have been to many theaters around the world, this has to be in my top three if not the best.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Did not let me down . Exceeded my every expectations of my first Opera in Catina Italy. ??A wonderful experience❤️. Cast was wonderfully delightful They sang like beautiful birds. The acting was done brilliantly. Very funny actually. The theater is known to be one of the best acoustic theater in Europe. You could hear it clear with out any microphones singing and Orchestra.At one point if you are fortunate to get ground seats the cast runs through and sings and interacts in the isles . Very fun!There was an electronic board in English and Italian words of the singing during the show to follow along.?you can get tickets that day at noon for the 5 :30 pm show. The tickets ran 48. Euro a piece for ground floor. So not to pricey. I recommend it highly. People were very nice who work there. Beautiful experience. Bravo ? Italy ??:)?❤️

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you come to Catania, you just cannot miss this splendid opera house, both for a visit and also for a concert or opera.
It is a must for any tourist interested in experiencing the culture of the town. The acoustics are excellent.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The theatre was more than beautiful.We were thrilled even if we had been to Teatro Massimo at Palermo.
We have to mention that this theatre tour was one of our greatest experience in Sicily because of the amazing tour guide mr. Antonio who explained every detail of the theatre so kindly and passionate. He is a cultured man that totally loves his job and does an amazing work and we appreciate meeting him.

Worth visiting during the classic opera season to witness the clarity of the sound, but also out of working hours with a guide.
