Il teatro Machiavelli è stato il luogo in cui hanno calcato le prime scene Giovanni Grasso, Angelo Musco, Nino Nartoglio e Luigi Pirandello. Certamente gli spazi angusti e soprattutto nuove esigenze del pubblico ne decretarono la decadenza fino ad un nuovo risorgere sotto una nuova guida che vi realizza convegni, laboratori, masterclass, concerti We are located in front of the cradle of the Italian Theater. In questi giorni in occasione della festa di Sant'Agata (5-02-2018) in esposizione una mostra fotografica relativa alla festa. C	Carmelo Marano on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Prima volta che entravo in questo teatro posto proprio al centro della città. Davvero bella la scalinata d'accesso che ti proietta direttamente nel palco. La struttura che lo ospita sicuramente è stata ristrutturata e nel complesso é una struttura moderna. First time I entered this theater located right in the center of the city. The access stairway that projects you directly onto the stage is really beautiful. The structure that houses it has certainly been renovated and overall it is a modern structure.

C	Casa Verdi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ho assistito ad una performance spettacolare, straordinaria, avanguardistica. Habitus é stato per me un esempio di comunicazione effettiva che ha stimolato emozioni e pensieri. Le scelte musicali, le luci e pure l´inversione stage / pubblico che ha avuto come conseguenza una originalissima scenografia rappresentata dalle scale del Machiavelli. Ringrazio il Teatro Machiavelli per aver prodotto un laboratorio di questa qualitá e i suoi ideatori attori. I witnessed a spectacular, extraordinary, avant-garde performance. Habitus was for me an example of effective communication that stimulated emotions and thoughts. The musical choices, the lights and also the stage / public inversion that had as a consequence a very original scenography represented by the stairs of Machiavelli. I thank the Machiavelli Theater for having produced a laboratory of this quality and its creators.

Nowadays, it hosts temporary art exhibitions in the main halls visible from the square. The teather itself is placed in the basement, and it is not visible until you come inside. I did not know the story of this place, and that was a pity. Placed in the very downtown, this theater has the potential to be arranged as a little museum of comedy and poetry. If you enter this place without knowing what happened here in the past, then you will totally lost its deeper soul, and it will appear just as four halls with some pictures.
