An incredible place. Please note that Google is not giving the correct closing time for this museum complex. At least during the summer, it is open until 19:30.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il serapeo è l'area dedicata alla divinità egizia Serapide, costituita da un'ampia esedra alla fine della vasca del Canopo.
All'interno c'era il triclinio imperiale con lo stibadium, il letto triclinare; l'imperatore vi teneva banchetti spettacolari per via degli effetti d'acqua prodotti dagli zampilli che circondavano i commensali.
Molto fresco, vale la pena fare una piccola pausa.
The serapeum is the area dedicated to the Egyptian divinity Serapis, consisting of a large exedra at the end of the Canopic basin.
Inside there was the imperial triclinium with the stibadium, the triclinium bed; the emperor held spectacular banquets there because of the effects of water produced by the jets that surrounded the guests.

Al fondo se recreó una gruta artificial en cuya pared del fondo saltaba una cascada que luego discurría subterránea hasta desaguar en el canopo.
