★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Un bellissimo sentiero sull'appennino in direzione Pianello di Cagli appena usciti da Secchiano. Il sentiero inizia con il ponte in cemento e acciaio sul torrente Bosso a quota 320 mslm e si estende circa un paio di km fino ad arrivare alla quota di 510 mslm. Qui si trovano tantissime ammoniti. Il termine Ammoniti deriva da Plinio il vecchio il quale intendeva questi fossili come fossero oggetti del Dio Amon da cui Ammoniti. Buona ricerca.
A beautiful path on the Apennines towards Pianello di Cagli just after leaving Secchiano. The path begins with the concrete and steel bridge over the Bosso stream at an altitude of 320 m asl and extends for about a couple of km until it reaches an altitude of 510 m. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Interessante e ben tenuto. Discreta pendenza ma il sentiero è facile. Più affascinante il limitrofo sentiero per la fonte di San Nicolò che costeggia il fiume Bosso
Interesting and well maintained. Slight slope but the path is easy. More fascinating is the neighboring path to the source of San Nicolò which runs along the Bosso river

Le informazioni sono scarse e la ricezione degli smartphone è nulla. In compenso le informazioni sui fossili di ammoniti sono interessanti e ben dettagliate.
Nice path, also practicable with children, even if some more information signs on the path would be useful.
Information is scarce and smartphone reception is nil. On the other hand, the information on ammonite fossils is interesting and well detailed.
