★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pensavo si trattasse di una camminata e invece si snoda lungo la strada e personalmente non consiglio di farlo a piedi. Delle fantomatiche stratificazioni minerarie nemmeno l'ombra, in tutti i sensi, tranne un pannello espositivo sulla strada molto deludente anch'esso.
I thought it was a walk and instead it winds along the road and personally I don't recommend doing it on foot. Not even the shadow of the phantom mineral stratifications, in every sense, except for an exhibition panel on the road which is also very disappointing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sentiero quasi pianeggiante lungo il tracciato dell'acquedotto medievale. . Molto panoramico in quanto sospeso sopra alla gola. Facile adatto a tutti in quanto messo in sicurezza.
Almost flat path along the medieval aqueduct route. . Very scenic as it is suspended above the gorge. Easy suitable for everyone as it is secured.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La gola del Bottaccione che inizia alla periferia di Gubbio è una zona da visitare assolutamente. Semplicemente percorrendo un paio di km a piedi potrete ammirare gli strati geologici che hanno dato origine alla teoria della caduta di un meteorite che ha sterminato i dinosauri. In altre parole farete un emozionante viaggio nel tempo. Potrete anche percorrere il cammino attrezzato sull' acquedotto medioevale che arriva fino a Gubbio, durante il quale potrete ammirare anche il bellissimo Eremo di Sant'Ambrogio.
The Bottaccione gorge that begins on the outskirts of Gubbio is an area to visit absolutely. Simply walking for a couple of km you will see the geological layers that gave rise to the theory of the fall of a meteorite that exterminated the dinosaurs. In other words you will make an exciting journey through time. You can also walk along the equipped path on the medieval aqueduct that reaches Gubbio, during which you can also admire the beautiful Hermitage of Sant'Ambrogio.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dal centro di Gubbio si parte per una passeggiata abbastanza impegnativa che passa dal vecchio acquedotto, gola del bottaccione, si gira per la sommità del monte Ingino e poi si ridiscende in paese passando dal Santuario di Sant’Ubaldo. Sono 16km di saliscendi molto cari, panorami vasti sulla pianura e i boschi. Nella gola si vedono i carotaggi che hanno confermato la teoria dell’asteroide che impattò la terra, c’è uno strato KT nella roccia caratterizzato dall’assenza di fossili.
From the center of Gubbio we start for a fairly demanding walk that passes by the old aqueduct, the bottaccione gorge, turns to the top of Mount Ingino and then descends back to the village passing by the Santuario di Sant’Ubaldo. There are 16km of very expensive ups and downs, vast panoramas over the plain and the woods. In the gorge you can see the cores that confirmed the asteroid theory that impacted the earth, there is a KT layer in the rock characterized by the absence of fossils.
