★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Großer Parkplatz zum Start von Wanderungen z.B. zur nahe gelegenen Kirche, oder um mal den Abend zu genießen. Man sollte aber mal einen Mülleimer aufstellen, damit die Italiener ihren Müll nichts ins Gebüsch werfen
Large parking lot at the start of hikes, e.g. to the nearby church, or to enjoy the evening. But you should set up a garbage can so that the Italians don't throw their rubbish into the bushes

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Parcheggio senza luci, su ghiaia con grosse buche, a 700 metri dall'eremo. Senza nessun servizio, non a pagamento. Per arrivare strada stretta e con curve a gomito, per camper ci si arriva ma consiglio di salire sotto sera quando si fermano le macchine ed è vuoto perché non illuminato.
Parking without lights, on gravel with large holes, 700 meters from the hermitage. Without any service, not for a fee. To get there, a narrow road with sharp bends, for campers you can get there but I recommend going up in the evening when the cars stop and it is empty because it is not illuminated.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Eccezionale piazzale panoramico situato lungo la salita al Monte Subasio, poco prima dell'Eremo delle Carceri.
Da qui si gode di una stupenda vista sulla sottostante Assisi e sulle colline umbre circostanti.
La terrazza viene utilizzata anche come area di parcheggio gratuita e incustodita.
Exceptional panoramic square located along the slope to Mount Subasio, just before the Eremo delle Carceri.
From here you can enjoy a wonderful view of the underlying Assisi and the surrounding Umbrian hills.
The terrace is also used as a free and unattended parking area.
