★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sometimes very busy even off season as a lot of locals eat here too. But it is worth it! Service is very kind. We enjoyed the vegetarian dishes even more than the (also very good) carbonara. Pasta was delicious! Atmosphere was great! And all that for reasonable prices in a great location and quarter of the town. Five of five !!!!

Some of the fish was not that great so thats the reason for the 4 stars.
Wish there was more diversity with the food, they only have about 12 menu items, but i guess thats pretty typical in Italy, not sure why.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Big disappointment. Our one and only Palermo dinner didnt quite go as expected. After a an hour of waiting for food, we were given oversalted average pasta that wasnt tasty at all. Some of us left more than half on the plate.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very good, they primarily serve pasta, as the name suggests. Everyone enjoyed their dish. If you can’t find servers inside, go outside and there is plenty of outdoor seating. Prices are definitely fair, especially for the flavors. I ordered the cacio e Pepe and it didn’t pretend to be anything it isn’t, it was cheese and pepper and delicious. My friend ordered the calamari and prawns and said the calamari was not chewy and the green sauce on the plate was fantastic (I also smelled the fresh herbs they had on top!). My other friend ordered the pasta alla norma and was licking his plate at the end. Overall, really good and would go back again, especially if you’re in the mood for pasta!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice servers and cooks. Plus the atmosphere can't be beat. The gricia pasta was completely homemade and amongst the best pasta dish I have ever had. Very good! Had burrata and tomato salad and gricia with a glass of wine for under €20. Scolapasta is a must stop in Palermo.
