Such a great place, from the atmosphere to the amazing food and excellent wine selection to the friendly service! The Chef’s creativity is beyond any expectations! Being in Scinua felt warm and welcoming as always. Can’t wait to go back! If you plan a trip to Apulia and you are even remotely close to Putignano, Scinua is a MUST!

We especially loved the appetizer medley which featured stuffed courgette flowers among other mouth-watering small plates. The pasta dishes and vegetable side were bursting with flavour all accompanied by a lovely bottle of local Primitivo wine. We would definitely go back! Memorable dinner!

His use of organic and locally sourced food combined with his understanding of marrying tastes and textures results in an explosion of flavor. He presents his food in a simple, elegant and artistic way. Ambience of the restaurant is lovely, acoustics are great, staff is professional and competent. Bravo! We will be returning here for sure.

Putignano is a beautiful little town but it’s true heart lies in Scinuá’s kitchen. A menu inspired solely by local ingredients, each dish is perfectly thought of and made with so much pride and respect for the pugliese cuisine. We had the tasting of the local’s ingredients and then a picanha, everything was beyond our expectations. From the bread and olive oil or the quality of the meat, each bite was exquisite. Thank you so much Chef Gigi and staff for this wonderful evening! We will be back, again and again.

The chef came over to advice us on his menu and give detailed explanations of his preparations. The meal was simply delicious. Italian traditional cuisine with the little innovative touch from the chef. All made with seasonal fresh local produce, tasty, rendering heart warming plates to delight the palate. An absolute must when in Puglia.

The chef/owner Gigi is passionate about the food he presents. His focus is on the local ingredients of Puglia - fava beans, wild bitter onions called Lampascioni lightly fried and served with fig must, rapa and chicoria, the ever present Taralli crisp rings of dough and of course unbelievably good olive oil. The photos show a flight of 5 antipasti. The flavours equaled the presentation. Thanks so much Gigi.

We even plan our holiday locations so we can go here and every time is an amazing food experience! What a pleasure to eat here and the service is always with a smile and a laugh.
