★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Telefoniamo preventivamente per chiedere indicazioni in merito al sito, ci viene comunicato che è aperto ....percorriamo 200 km per arrivare agli scavi e il custode Ci informa che non è possibile accedere agli scavi a causa di un alluvione che ha reso inagibile il percorso. Durante tutto il tragitto troviamo questa carinissima informazione: l'alluvione é del 2013 quindi 6 anni fa e la Comunità Europea ha stanziato dei fondi per far ripristinare il sito ...ovviamente mai ripristinato... per curiosità sarebbe carino capire dove sono andati a finire questi soldi comunque una vera schifezza... uno scandalo senza senso.... il dramma È che purtroppo su questi territori incapaci di investire nella conservazione nella valorizzazione della nostra storia non c'è sensibilità ma solo interesse alla speculazione purtroppo perderemo tutta la nostra storia grazie a queste gestioni
We call in advance to ask for directions about the site, we are informed that it is open .... we walk 200 km to get to the excavations and the caretaker informs us that it is not possible to access the excavations due to a flood that made the route unusable . Throughout the journey we find this very nice information: the flood is from 2013 then 6 years ago and the European Community has allocated funds to restore the site ... obviously never restored ... out of curiosity it would be nice to understand where they went to finish this money anyway a real crap ... a senseless scandal .... the tragedy is that unfortunately on these territories incapable of investing in conservation in the enhancement of our history there is no sensitivity but only interest in speculation unfortunately we will lose all the our history thanks to these managements

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Sehr gut gepflegte Anlage. Dass die alten Griechen hier bei den Römern eine Siedlung bauten, zeigt das Verhältnis zwischen beiden Ländern. Und prompt bauten die Griechen auch eine Theater. Sibari war also kulturell höher einzustufen, als nur ein Exil oder ein Fischerdorf. Sehr interessant.
Very well maintained facility. The fact that the ancient Greeks built a settlement here with the Romans shows the relationship between the two countries. And the Greeks promptly built a theatre. So Sibari was culturally higher than just an exile or a fishing village. Very interesting.

Bisogna ammettere che ci sono dei reperti davvero eccezionali su ogni punto di vista, però manca la cura del posto, manca anche manutenzione e purtroppo così facendo si rischia di perdere un patrimonio di assoluta importanza di carattere mondiale.

Ticket is to museum and the ruins. The ruins is a small city with foundation from a gate, a bath and a Theatre. I liked the huge roman road, that was amazing and larger than the roads in Pompeii, best roman road i have seen
