Bravissimo il personale dell'azienda agricola che vi lavora e che produce ottimi formaggi, burro ed uno strepitoso gelato grazie al latte delle loro mucche. Ma mi rendo conto, di quanto poco conosciamo e valorizziamo il nostro territorio. A wonder hidden in the green! Excellent restoration and maintenance! The staff of the farm who works there and which produces excellent cheeses, butter and an amazing ice cream thanks to the milk of their cows are very good. But I realize how little we know and value our territory.

Consigliato come tappa di una camminata. Very nice and quiet place with bar with very nice and kind staff. Perfect place to relax and breathe clean air with beautiful views. Recommended as a stage of a walk.

Certosa molto bella dove risiede un azienda agricola che produce formaggi tipici e un ottimo gelato con il latte fresco. Consigliato una gita fuori porta non troppo lontano da Torino. Very pleasant and relaxing place, ideal for a picnic but it is forbidden to light fires or barbecues. Very beautiful Charterhouse where there is a farm that produces typical cheeses and an excellent ice cream with fresh milk. A trip out of town not too far from Turin is recommended.

Purtroppo una alluvione del 1400 ha distrutto il grande chiostro e le mura, anche la Correria cioè la Chiesa dei conversi subì enormi danni e ad oggi ne sono visitabili solo i resti. Al suo interno è anche presente un'azienda agricola che offre ottimi formaggi di alpeggio e gelati prodotti con il latte delle proprie mucche. The Certosa di Montebenedetto, the only primitive Charterhouse in Italy, located within the Orsiera Rocciavré Natural Park, offers a unique atmosphere as its hidden position with respect to the valley floor has allowed it to maintain its original characteristics. La Certosa è visitabile e percorribile dal sentiero che parte dalla frazione di Adret in 45 minuti di camminata su sentiero boschivo con poca pendenza. Nelle case accanto alla chiesetta si vendono formaggi, latte fresco e gelati, il tutto di ottima qualità. A place in an enchanted valley, a small church and some houses around where there is a hut. The Certosa can be visited and covered by the path that starts from the hamlet of Adret in a 45-minute walk on a wooded path with little slope. In the houses next to the church, cheeses, fresh milk and ice creams are sold, all of excellent quality.
k	katia bertolo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bellissima certosa, scoperta per puro caso due domeniche fa quando, ormai già ora di pranzo, volevamo scappare da Torino per fare qualche camminata non troppo impegnativa (essendo già tardi) a media quota. Si sale in auto da San Giorio, in Val di Susa, per 8/9 km. La strada, molto stretta, collega tutte le frazioni del comune, sul versante della montagna, passando per Pognant e Città. L’ultima frazione, dove la strada si chiude, è Adret. Qui si lascia l'auto e ci si incammina a piedi per un percorso facile (c'è solo qualche salita) attraverso un bosco. Quando si arriva finalmente in cima il paesaggio sulla valle della Certosa e sui monti retrostanti è magnifica, è un posto appartato e bellissimo (mica stupidi sto certosini ;-)!). Per arrivare alla certosa si scende ancora per 5/10minuti attraversando un prato e un ponticello di pietra, dove il guardiano della certosa faceva "selezione all'ingresso" tipo discoteca :-). La certosa, restaurata da poco, e l'ambiente circostante sono bucolici. L'ulteriore valore aggiunto poi lo danno i due ragazzi che da aprile/maggio portano qui le loro mucche e gestiscono, all'interno del complesso della Certosa, una rivendita di latte, formaggi e gelato. Abbiamo comprato sia il latte che i loro formaggi e sono eccellenti!!! Nel complesso ci sono anche delle stanze un po' basiche dove si può dormire. Gita da fare ASSOLUTAMENTE! Beautiful Charterhouse, discovered by pure chance two Sundays ago when, by now already lunch time, we wanted to escape from Turin to do some not too demanding walk (being already late) at medium altitude. Drive up from San Giorio, in Val di Susa, for 8/9 km. The road, very narrow, connects all the hamlets of the municipality, on the slope of the mountain, passing through Pognant and Città. The last village, where the road closes, is Adret. Here you leave the car and set off on foot for an easy route (there is only a few climbs) through a forest. When you finally arrive at the top the landscape on the Certosa valley and on the mountains behind is magnificent, it is a secluded and beautiful place (not stupid I am Carthusian ;-)!). To get to the Charterhouse you go down again for 5 / 10minutes crossing a lawn and a stone bridge, where the guardian of the Charterhouse was making "selection at the entrance" like a disco :-). The Charterhouse, recently restored, and the surrounding environment are bucolic. The further added value is given by the two boys who bring their cows here from April / May and manage, within the Certosa complex, a shop selling milk, cheese and ice cream. We bought both milk and their cheeses and they are excellent !!! Overall there are also some basic rooms where you can sleep. Trip to do ABSOLUTELY!
