La nostra guida, di professione archeologo, ci ha raccontato la storia della splendida città di Matera e ci ha fatto visitare i luoghi di maggiore interesse sia del sasso Barisano sia del sasso Caveoso con spiegazioni molto interessanti e dettagliate. È stato altresì molto disponibile nell’indicarci altri luoghi di interesse da visitare successivamente. Posso dire che in tre ore abbiamo visto praticamente tutto, anche luoghi meno battuti dai classici circuiti turistici, con una narrazione professionale e allegra. Nicola went above and beyond to make sure that we got the most out of the amazing city of Matera, and his knowledge of the area and its history was so impressive, as was his kindness in answering all of our (many, many) questions! He took us to see cave churches, hidden views and local secrets, while also giving us a historical and contextual overview that made us appreciate Matera so much. Would highly recommend Sassi Tour for anyone interested in the city - great stories, great sights, great fun!
