Sapevamo che ci voleva una guida esperta per vedere Matera, abbiamo optato per lui, e ne siamo rimasti affascinati. Uccio è un ragazzo molto preparato, scaltro e soprattutto disponibile. Abbiamo fatto un tour di circa 3 ore senza accorgercene. Esperienza bellissima, grazie Matera e grazie Uccio.

Venerdì 17/5 abbiamo fatto un meraviglioso tour in compagnia di Uccio Acquasanta una super guida che ci ha ammaliato con le sue parole descrivendo la storia e la cultura di questa affascinante città. Uccio è una guida veramente preparata e coinvolgente tanto che ci ha fatto “vivere” la storia di questa città attraverso i suoi racconti e le sue emozioni: si percepiva il forte attaccamento alla propria terra in cui lui è nato e vissuto, orgoglioso di questa città che un tempo è stata luogo di vergogna e che oggi è patrimonio dell’Unesco. Il tempo passato insieme per i vicoli, le strade ed i Sassi unitamente alla visita delle Chiese, nonché delle Chiese Rupestri, della Cattedrale e della Grotta arredata come al tempo in cui vivere nei Sassi era da “trogloditi”, è stato veramente molto piacevole ed interessante….è volato…peccato essere state solo due giorni in questa bella città, altrimenti avremmo approfittato dell’esperienza di Uccio per ulteriori visite sia della città sia della Murgia materana. Uccio Acquasanta è una persona eccezionale, simpatica e con una grande professionalità! Speriamo di tornare presto per apprendere, sempre insieme a lui, altri ricordi di vita vissuta di questa città unica e affascinante ma anche per visitare altri luoghi della Basilicata. Consigliamo vivamente di Uccio Acquasanta come guida perché, oltre ad essere molto preparato, ammalia le persone coinvolgendole con i suoi meravigliosi tour. Patrizia & Debora My daughter and I were in Matera on May 16th and 17th 2019, to visit this city full of culture and history. On Friday 17th May we had a wonderful tour with Uccio Acquasanta, a super guide who captivated us with his words describing the history and culture of this fascinating city. Uccio is a really prepared and engaging guide so that he made us "live" the history of this city through his stories and his emotions: he felt the strong attachment to his land where he was born and lived, proud of this city which once was the place of shame, and is now Unesco. The time spent together in the alleys, the streets and the Sassi together with the visit of the Churches, as well as of the Rock Churches, the Cathedral and the Grotto furnished as in the time in which living in the Sassi was by "troglodytes", was really very pleasant and interesting ... it flew ... too bad it was only two days in this beautiful city, otherwise we would have taken advantage of Uccio's experience for further visits to both the city and the Murgia of Matera. Uccio Acquasanta is an exceptional person, nice and with great professionalism! We hope to return soon to learn, always together with him, other memories of life lived in this unique and fascinating city but also to visit other places in Basilicata. Assolutamente consigliato! In più (nota assolutamente da non sottovalutare): eravamo con i nostri ragazzi di 11 e 14 anni, che si sono appassionati e sono stati rapiti dai racconti di Uccio. Due ore piacevoli, interessanti e stra consigliate. Buona visita a tutti! Ci ha messo subito a nostro agio Proponendoci un percorso personalizzato , un percorso che ci ha permesso di vedere i sassi nella sua interezza. Il percorso che doveva essere di 3 ore ha superato l’orario di molto senza che si notasse nessuna stanchezza da entrambe le parti e senza spese aggiuntive. Ci ha fatto vivere i sassi di Matera trasmettendoci tutto il suo entusiasmo, tanto che alla fine ci siamo sentiti dei materani non turisti. Matera sassi e’ bellissima e molto suggestiva specialmente la sera. Che dire : Uccio una Guida molto preparata sicuramente da votare . Diamo il voto massimo perché è veramente meritato . He immediately put us at ease By offering us a personalized path, a path that has allowed us to see the stones in its entirety.
