Madonna della Scala del Paradiso, infatti al suo interno c'è una pittura rupestre rappresentante la Madonna con Bambino e una scala con sfondo un paesaggio rurale. La nascita della chiesa e convento lo si deve al Venerabile Girolamo Terzo nell'ottica della Riforma Carmelitana Siracusana nel corso del XVII sec. dopo il terremoto del 1693. Infatti una prima chiesetta si trovava nella vallata di fronte la chiesa.
