β β β β β Amazing Place! Carrubella is one of several paths that lead to the small lakes created by the river Cassibile. You an get to the path along the SP4 coming over Avola Antica and the main entrance to the lakes of Cavagrande. Heading in the direction of Palazzolo Acreide after a few km you will find the path known as Via Madonna of Lourdes. After passing a farm, you can park outside, you will find a shed with the layout of the reserve path. The trail winds its way right down to the river passing through picturesque landscapes in the shade, mostly of oaks, willows, hawthorns, wild pear trees, oleander, oriental plane trees and a dense and lush riparian vegetation.

If interested to swim, go just a bit further; if not minimum 2 h walk through the wilderness to find the path to the water

β β β β β You need to plan for this gorgeous canyon at least 3 hours and shall not start after 15.00 o'clock with your trip. Δ°t is a very nice place to spend time with your family. Δ°t would be very hard to walk at the canyon for children 10years of age.
