È stretta e tortuosa la strada x arrivarci...il rettore è gentile ed affabile,ci siamo stati in occasione della festa del Santo,su suo invito.... T	Turista non per caso on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Molto più piccolo del più famoso Santuario di Oropa, ma sicuramente non meno bello, il uogo è fuori dal circuito del turismo di massa e quindi si respira un'aria più mistica. Molto bello anche il panorama che si gode dalla sua terrazza. Da vedere. C'è anche un itinerario naturalistico poco impegnativo con 5 cappelle che parte da Campiglia Cervo ed arriva al santuario, da lì si può scendere verso Oretto per poi tornare verso Campiglia Cervo. Rich in history and with a splendid bell tower. It remembers the Sanctuary of Oropa for its architecture. There is also an undemanding naturalistic itinerary with 5 chapels that starts from Campiglia Cervo and arrives at the sanctuary, from there you can descend towards Oretto and then return to Campiglia Cervo.

Colpisce per imponenza il grande ospizio costruito in varie fasi ma con notevole eleganza ed armonia; appare ancora ben tenuto ed è posto tappa del Sentiero Italia, della G.T.A. e del Cammino di San Carlo. La spiritualità del luogo è favorita anche dalla posizione dominante sulla valle. Salire a piedi da Campiglia non è faticoso e la mulattiera è molto bella. It is a little-known sanctuary outside the Biellese area perhaps due to the unusual dedication to the Baptist. R	Rossano Massai (Rossy57) on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Il santuario merita una visita sia per il luogo che per l'ambiente circostante. La strada per arrivare è abbastanza impegnativa per chi non ama guidare ma è spettacolare. Peccato che la prosecuzione per Oropa sia interrotta. Siamo andati il 15 agosto e purtroppo il santuario era stracolmo di gente molto più interessata alla ottima trattoria che non al luogo sacro. Peccato che a causa dei lavori sulla strada attualmente le auto vengano fatte parcheggiare all'interno del cortile del santuario creando rumore, polvere e viavai continuo di auto e moto. The sanctuary is worth a visit both for the place and for the surrounding environment. The road to get there is quite challenging for those who do not like to drive but it is spectacular. Too bad that the continuation to Oropa is interrupted. We went on August 15 and unfortunately the sanctuary was packed with people much more interested in the excellent restaurant than in the sacred place. Too bad that due to the works on the road, cars are currently being parked inside the courtyard of the sanctuary, creating noise, dust and continuous comings and goings of cars and motorbikes.
