★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A due chilometri dal paese, immerso nel verde c’è un piccolo santuario, in stile romanico rurale, dedicato alla Madonna della Saletta, nome curioso, ma suggestivo. Anche se non ha nulla a che fare con la più famosa “Madonna de la Salette” francese (dove La Salette indica il nome della località presso cui sorge l’omonimo santuario), ha per i suoi fedeli certamente uguale importanza. Lo strano nome è derivato da una antica scritta ritrovata in loco: “Salectu Ubi Ex Antiquitus Ficta Fuit Columna Marmorea”, che suggerisce la presenza, nell’antichità, di una colonna marmorea al cui posto poi è sorto il santuario. Al suo interno si trova una tela risalente al XV-XVI secolo, raffigurante una Madonna seduta sulla nuda roccia, dall’aspetto popolano, che tiene tra le mani il Gesù Bambino. (web)
 Two kilometers from the village, in the countryside there is a small sanctuary, in Romanesque rural style, dedicated to the Madonna della Saletta, a curious but suggestive name. Although it has nothing to do with the more famous "Madonna de la Salette" French (where La Salette indicates the name of the place where the homonymous sanctuary stands), it has for its faithful certainly equal importance. The strange name derives from an ancient inscription found on the spot: "Salectu Ubi Former Antiquitus Ficta Fuit Columna Marmorea", which suggests the presence, in antiquity, of a marble column in whose place the sanctuary was built. Inside there is a painting dating back to the fifteenth-sixteenth century, depicting a Madonna sitting on the bare rock, looking popolano, holding in her hands the Child Jesus. (Web)
