R	Riccardo Rossi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chiesa romanica sita alle pendici del Monte Amiata a pochi minuti di auto da Arcidosso, luogo spirituale ed ameno, consigliata una visita in assenza di turisti per apprezzarne appieno tutta la serenita' che riesce a trasmettere - A pochi passi e' presente una fonte di acqua freschissima che dovrebbe risultare potabile Romanesque church located on the slopes of Mount Amiata a few minutes drive from Arcidosso, a spiritual and pleasant place, a visit is recommended in the absence of tourists to fully appreciate all the serenity it manages to convey - A water source is just a few steps away fresh that should be drinkable

Quando ero bambino mi ci portava mia nonna almeno una volta all'anno. All'interno della chiesa, sul lato sinistro, c'era un piccolo quadro che raffigurava un diavoletto di colore verde "Il diavoletto della Pieve" che mia nonna diceva che faceva paura solo ai bimbi cattivi. Purtroppo il quadro non c'è più! Qualcuno sa che fine ha fatto? Very suggestive little church a little apart among the chestnut trees, but very characteristic. Essential and spartan. When I was a child my grandmother took me there at least once a year. Inside the church, on the left side, there was a small picture depicting a green devil "Il diavoletto della Pieve" that my grandmother said was scared only to bad children. Unfortunately the painting is gone! Does anyone know what happened to it?

La struttura si imposta su di un impianto di XII secolo, con importanti ristrutturazioni nel corso XIII secolo. Purtroppo la facciata medievale è andata perduta a causa di un moderno (ed osceno) intervento in stile neomedievale The parish church of Lamula is one of the most interesting and monumental Romanesque structures in the Monte Amiata area. The structure is set on a 12th century structure, with major renovations during the 13th century. Unfortunately, the medieval facade was lost due to a modern (and obscene) intervention in the neo-medieval style

Non è chiaro se l'acqua della fonte adiacente è potabile o meno. It is worth a visit, especially if you have the privilege of visiting it in perfect solitude. La pieve si sviluppò nel XIII secolo e, in base alla caratteristica delle pievi, fu costruita su un pianoro all'inizio della valle. Sul piazzale, il plevano amministrava e gestiva la rete della pieve, vi raccoglieva le decime e dispensava i Sacramenti Su uno dei pilastri interni si può leggere la datazione dell'edificio e il nome dell'artefice.
