★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Costruito tra il 1588 e il 1603 da maestranze provenienti da Lugano, in seguito a un voto fatto per la cessazione di un periodo di carestia, sotto il patrocinio del vescovo di Pienza, Francesco Maria Piccolomini, e della famiglia Ugurgieri, i cui stemmi campeggiano sulla facciata della chiesa con quello del popolo di Seggiano.
Si presenta su due ordini, in basso dorico, nella parte superiore segnata da un architrave con metope e triglifi. L'interno è a tre navate divise da archi con un'alta cupola in mattoni impostata sul tamburo quadrato all'incrocio del transetto.
Built between 1588 and 1603 by workers from Lugano, following a vow made to end a period of famine, under the patronage of the bishop of Pienza, Francesco Maria Piccolomini, and the Ugurgieri family, whose coats of arms stand out facade of the church with that of the people of Seggiano.
It is presented on two orders, Doric in the lower part, in the upper part marked by an architrave with metopes and triglyphs. The interior has three naves divided by arches with a high brick dome set on the square tambour at the intersection of the transept.
