★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Incredible park with great art by great artists. If you understand German, don't hesitate to take the audioguida with Spoerri's personal explanations for the art pieces, full of nice little stories and anecdotes, told in this beautiful accurate voice of his.
And if you want to be completely happy: spend the night in one of the 3 apartments the Giardino offers. Spacious and tastfully decorated.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An evocative art and nature experience. Works by Daniel Spoerri and friends fill the 16 acres of Tuscan hilly land. Wear comfy shoes, bring a hat/wear spf, and explore the hills and woods. Bring a blanket and do some drawing. In August, the park is full of wild blackberries, so free snacks. Don't bother w the cafe because it is mediocre (as of August 2019...I hope they get that sorted). Bring a picnic basket and a bottle of wine. Plan to spend at least four or five hours for a quick visit. Otherwise, spend the entire day to really take it all in. Nearby Seggiano has lovely accomodations at Castello di Potentino...and they produce wine. And the next town over, Castel del Piano, has bnbs and restaurants. Also, don't miss the terme at Bagni San Filippo (30 mins driving) if you want to follow up your art emersion with sulfur hotsprings (free).
