S	Signor Klingon on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Un percorso mistico in cui si concentrano piu di 2000 anni di frequentazioni trovandosi fra l abbazia e l eremo anche il sito archeologico del santuario di ercole curino , importantissimo in epoca romana, su di una terrazza con una ampia vista mozzafiato. Addirittura si pensava , quando negli anni 50 si scavo l antica frana che lo aveva seppellito, che vi fosse la villa di Ovidio che insieme a Celestino V , rappresentano le due glorie dell antica citta di Sulmona. Meriterebbe una valutazione maggiore. Il luogo è denso di misticismo e lo starvi vi darà momenti di grande pace interiore. In questo luogo potrete documentarvi di tutta la storia di Papa Celestino. Da questo eremo si gode una vista fantastica sulla valle Peligna e si vede anche guardando in basso un vecchio campo di concentramento creato dai nazisti durante il secondo conflitto bellico. Il custode è molto cordiale. A unique place where you can only get there on foot by climbing an arduous path, but it's worth it. A	Angelo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tra gli eremi Celestiniani è sicuramente il più "artificiale" viste le numerose costruzioni che circondano la grotta nella roccia tra cui la chiesa, l'oratorio e gli altri ambienti. L' eremo, abbarbicato sulla parete rocciosa (a 620 mt), domina dall'alto Sulmona e la valle circostante. È possibile raggiungerlo in macchina fino alle pendici e continuare la salita a piedi per circa 15 minuti. Seppur in salita, il percorso brecciato è comodo e poco impegnativo. La costruzione sembra rappresentare quasi una piccola abitazione, come dimostra l'ampia tavolata presente nella sala più alta. Sicuramente da visitare per suggestione, paesaggi e perché rappresenta una meta facilmente raggiungibile. S	Sergio T on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bellissimo. Si parcheggia in basso al parcheggio. 20 min di camminata facile facile serve solo il fiato. Aperto sabato e domenica. In basso ci sono bagno e punti di ristoro. A giugno li ho trovati chiusi. Magari luglio e agosto sono aperti. Cmq merita Very beautifull. Park at the bottom of the parking lot. 20 minutes of easy walking is just breath. Open Saturday and Sunday. At the bottom there are bathroom and refreshment points. In June I found them closed. Maybe July and August are open. Anyway deserves

Evocative place, Celestine v the great humble Pope had seen well, you can breathe good air, meditative, landscaped but above all excellent for prayer, praise to God in the high heavens!
L	Lorenzo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stupenda oasi di pace e di spiritualità, dove possiamo trovare la grotta che fu il primo umile rifugio dell'eremita Pietro da Morrone, posto sulle pendici dell'omonimo monte, nei pressi di Sulmona. Si trova all'incirca a un'altitudine di 600 metri, raggiungibile mediante delle scale intagliate nella roccia, di per sé la salita non é troppo faticosa dato il modesto dislivello, però nel caso in cui la scalata dovesse risultare comunque troppo faticosa, c'è la possibilità di fare gran parte della salita in macchina e posteggiare a pochi metri dall'eremo. È un'esperienza che consiglio a tutti di fare almeno una volta nella vita, che acquisisce ancor più valore, se si vorrà compiere la scalata proprio come facevano i monaci del tempo.
