D	Dario Milanese on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Piccola chiesa nel centro di Torino, gestita attualmente dai Padri della Congregazione dei Sacerdoti del Santissimo Sacramento, dopo che nel corso dei secoli vari ordini si sono susseguiti. Ha due cappelle laterali di dimensione ridotta che trasformano l'originale pianta ellittica in una croce greca. Rimodellata nel 1752 sotto la guida di Bernardo Antonio Vittone dopo l'elezione a Parrocchia, sorse in realtà già dal 1080, in corrispondenza del foro romano. Fu usata dai Carmelitani nel corso del Seicento come sede di tre Università di Arti: minusieri, osti e calzolai. Ha una facciata neoclassica di Barnaba Panizza del 1830; a cavallo tra Ottocento e Novecento fu oggetto di ulteriori interventi e divenne monumento nazionale dal 1910. Due bombardamenti notturni nel 1942 e nel 1943 resero necessari un ripristino della cupola e un restauro di altri ambienti. L'Assunzione della Vergine è l'altare maggiore, quello a sinistra è la Sacra Famiglia, mentre a destra troviamo il Battesimo di Gesù.
