Interessante anche il contesto in cui è inserito: quello di un paese piccolo, caratteristico e gradevole, con anche una buona vista. Consigliato. Particolare sotto l'altare la cappella dedicata alla apparizione della Madonna, ricca di marmi e fregi. Religious place of great energy. La sua storia racconta che cinque sorelle che pregavano in campagna, ebbero l'apparizione in questo luogo, apparve una signora avvolta in una nuvola, luminosa affiancata da due Angeli. La popolazione vi costruì un santuario. I lavori per la costruzione della chiesa iniziarono nello stesso 1556 per concludersi nel 1558. La struttura architettonica della chiesa è caratterizzata da tre navate separate da colonnev di ordine ionico. Nel presbiterio è presente la cappella dell'Apparizione. All'interno, oltre ad un gran numero di ex voto , è conservata la statua raffigurante la Vergine Maria del 1624. Presso la cappella del del santissimo rosario, a sinistra dell'altare maggiore, sono esposte la statua lignea e una tela del 1688. Vi sono opere del XVII dell'Annunciazione e La croce e le pie donne.
