★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ampia scalinata doppia per arrivare all’ingresso della chiesa. Gestita da pp. Carmelitani. Puntuali. C’è molto bel legno. L’altare ha una specie di iconostasi, la pianta è particolare a croce greca ed ha una ricca collezioni di pittori famosi del ‘600 (Vaccaro Luca Giordano Pietro de Matteis ecc)
Large double staircase to get to the church entrance. Run by PP. Carmelites. Punctual. There is very nice wood. The altar has a kind of iconostasis, the plant is particular to a Greek cross and has a rich collection of famous painters of the '600 (Vaccaro Luca Giordano Pietro de Matteis etc.)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chiesa imponente proprio alla fine di Via dei Mille, quando la strada inizia a salire e cambia il suo nome in via Vittoria Colonna. E pensare che proprio l'ammodernamento dell'impianto stradale ci ha privati del maestoso scalone che conduceva alla chiesa progettata dal Fanzago. Bellissima anche all'interno, con opere di Luca Giordano.
Imposing church just at the end of Via dei Mille, when the road begins to rise and changes its name to Via Vittoria Colonna. And to think that the modernization of the road system has deprived us of the majestic staircase that led to the church designed by Fanzago. Beautiful also inside, with works by Luca Giordano.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ La chiesa è una delle più importanti del panorama edilizio presente nel quartiere Chiaia. Di fondazione barocca, l'edificio presenta una facciata assai decorata e ben tenuta con costanti lavori di manutenzione. Si accede mediante una doppia rampa di scala che smonta su un terrazzino da cui è possibile avere una bella visuale di Via dei Mille.
L'interno presenta ricche decorazioni a stucco, unite sia da un bel gioco di marmi policromi che dalla presenza di opere scultoree e pittoriche alcune di interessante fattura. La cupola, in parte rovinata è tra le più belle della zona rendendo l'interno del luogo sacro assai luminoso.
Visita consigliata a chi ha disposizione almeno cinque giorni o per chi prenota un appartamento nei dintorni.

The church is one of the most important buildings in the Chiaia district. Founded in Baroque style, the building has a very ornate and well-maintained façade with constant maintenance work. It is accessed by a double flight of stairs that disassembles on a small terrace from which it is possible to have a beautiful view of Via dei Mille.
The interior has rich stucco decorations, united both by a beautiful play of polychrome marbles and by the presence of sculptural and pictorial works, some of interesting workmanship. The partly ruined dome is among the most beautiful in the area, making the interior of the sacred place very bright.
Visit recommended for those who have at least five days or for those who book an apartment nearby.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bellissima costruzione barocca, presumibilmente 1602, realizzata ad un livello superiore rispetto a quello stradale. Si accede da due scale laterali circolari, di una maestosità regale. Da visitare!
Beautiful baroque building, presumably 1602, built at a higher level than the street level. It is accessed by two circular side stairs, of a royal majesty. To visit!
