★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the most beautiful and important church in Vicenza from XIII (used to be dominican convent) with great pieces of art ex. Bellini's Baptise of Christ. Since the church is a state property there is NO FREE ENTRANCE!!!
The famous reliquary of the Holy Thorne you may find in Diocese Museum of Vicenza. Both places you can visit with BIGLIETTO UNICO for 15€ that gives you 7 day access to many other museums in Vicenza and Teatro Olimpico. Ticket office is at the entrance to Teatro Olimpico.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Another "must see" here in Vicenza. The church contains the Valmarana chapel (circa 1576), whose design is attributed to the Renaissance Architect Andrea Palladio. Palladio himself was initially buried in this church. Construction on the church was begun in 1261 to house a thorn from the supposed relic of the crown (corona) of thorns forced on Jesus during his his passion.
