At this Place you can get inspired by the way of How Salt is being created and see the beautyful landscape. Many Many Mountains out of Salt are there which is hard as Stone and you can also buy fresh and delicious Salt there. Love it β€οΈ

β β β β β If your trip passes through Trapani or Erice then I recommend stopping here for an excellent dinner admiring the salt flats.
The attached photos show how the sunset transforms these lands, a bit monotonous by day.
My restaurant was the "Trattoria del sale", beautiful place... the mill in the photo.

β β β β β To get by walk pretty complicated, after few km walkway ends and starts normal road for vehicles which is quite intensive. Best time to visit mid-end of summer or autumn, otherwise don't except to see any salt hills.

β β β β β Nothing special but it was nice stop over the salt was little pink thats what makes Flamingos got the pinky color when they eat the algae. You can buy some salt packages or magnet for the ligh house there.

β β β β β Salt mines are an Interesting spot in Trapani to visit if in the area. Windmills and history make for a good 10 minute roadside visit.
