★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Police will not help you file a report if you speak English. They said the office was closed. Gave me an address for another police station which they said was also closed. Told me to go to the police station at the train station. This was also closed. Don't even bother trying.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I tried to report a suspected drug drop to the police but was turned away. I was told to go to another Police station 1.5 km away to give them the photos I had. Needless to say I didn't bother!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The police are not interested in reports of theft via pickpockets, as usual they go backwards! The Italians do not recognise white lines on a zebra crossing but recognise white on most things!!!

The guard didn’t speak English, and wouldn’t let you in to speak with an officer who can speak English.
Instead he asked you to come back “tomorrow at 9am” which would be a Saturday (?!).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I got robbed and found the thieves eBay account listing my stolen items as well as 30+ other possibly stolen items, I doubt the police will actually follow up though.
The police in rome are pretty terrible I got robbed the emergency line just give me an address for a police station they speak just enough English to tell you to go elsewhere 3 stations later I went to the HQ. Police here also don't speak English pretty uninterested I got a report form after a few hours of waiting the form has very little depth 2 lines to describe the thief it doesn't ask you to describe what happened you also don't get any form of interview.
