★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dopo un'intensa discussione col mio commissariato di zona (piazza Azzarita) a proposito delle barriere architettoniche presenti e il senso di umiliazione personale per il mio dover restare in strada e non poter entrare dentro, ho deciso di rinnovare il mio passaporto altrove.
L'unico posto disponibile, senza dover aspettare settimane per avere un appuntamento, è stato qui in via Simeto 60.
Non avevo nessuna idea di cosa avrei trovato perchè mi ero mossa istintivamente, per una questione di principio, senza informarmi di nulla.
Sono stata graziata dal cielo.
Nessuna barriera architettonica.
Zero barriere mentali.
Gentilissimi, disponibili, umani, generosi di informazioni, sensibili alla mia disabilità senza paternalismi, veloci, efficienti..
Non saprei cos'altro aggiungere, anzi si.

 After an intense discussion with my local police station (piazza Azzarita) about the architectural barriers present and the sense of personal humiliation for my having to stay on the street and not being able to enter inside, I decided to renew my passport elsewhere.
The only place available, without having to wait weeks for an appointment, was here in via Simeto 60.
I had no idea what I would find because I moved instinctively, as a matter of principle, without informing me of anything.
I was pardoned by heaven.
No architectural barriers.
Zero mental barriers.
Very kind, helpful, human, generous with information, sensitive to my disability without paternalism, fast, efficient ..
I don't know what else to add, indeed yes.
