★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had my purse stolen in the H bus and my sons wallet was stolen too . Like previous comments the police were hopeless claimed the station was closed due to infestation. Did not help at all despite there being about 5 officers on duty there . Appalling service and no wonder the pick pockets thrive as no effort to investigate

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I attended this police station to file a report about my wife having her purse stolen on the Metro. They told me they had no time to prepare a report because they were under staffed, too busy and had more important issues to deal with. I was asked to come back the next day which I did and was told the same thing! Very unhelpful, no sympathy and unprofessional..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We lost our bag while taking train that morning . We first planned to go to the police station inside the Roma Termini. However, we were told that they were too busy and asked us to go to this station which is the nearest one.
But, the officer just told us they were busy too and we had to wait for long time and suggested us to leave. Actually, I saw none of them were doing anything. They just kept asking the people to leave. One of the officers was very rude and arrogant and said it was impossible to make any report and we could only come back at 7pm if we wish. I asked his name, but he was not dare to tell.
We left with anger and went to the headquarter. It just took only 10 mins to get a paper document.
I don’t think the police station worth getting any star.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came to report the loss of my bank card. The police officer was not very good at English but he tried his best to communicate with me. He gave me a form in both English and Italian. I filled it out, submitting my passport. He checked the documents and information I reported, signed and stamped the form. The procedure took less than one hour including the time I spent waiting to my turn. I got a copy of the report, submitted it to the bank and got a new card issued right away. To me it was very efficient compared with all other administrative offices here in Rome, and in Italy in general. At first I was worried that they wouldn't let me report because I didn't speak any Italian. But it turned out things had changed. The form was very easy to fill in and time saving. And the officer is very nice and supporting. Maybe Im just a lucky case. But I believe Italian police is trying to change and to help tourists more.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been here as a resident in Rome and also with clients who have had to report a theft. They are rude, unhelpful and arrogant. Always 3 or 4 people but they always have a reason/excuse why you have to wait.... once because they claimed they only had one pen... I went to buy one to dpeed yhe process up!!!!! The police in Rome will not help you or protect you. Especially if you are a foreigner! Welcome to Rome

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My wallet was stolen and I had to make a report so I can go to my embassy. They were rude and unhelpful. I made a complaint to my embassy and they get them signing my document.
Totally I was waiting there 4 hours (on 2 different visits so I can complete my document) about 10 minutes job.... ??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kind, helpful and efficient. Yes, you may have to wait for around 1 hour if there are people already waiting in line before you, but it's quite organized on who came first and whose turn is next. Also, I wrote everything in English, and translated it into Italian and showed them that to read for better communication.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Similar to other people, they leave you waiting then give a terrible excuse. Mine was they were closing the whole station due to sanitisation after waiting a full hour stood up outside, all I wanted to do was fill out a form. I went straight to the ‘Polizia di Stato - Commissariato Esquilino’ and they helped me in 10 minutes, I suggest you go to this one instead.
