Roma STARBIKE - e-Bike Tours & Experiences

Very fine experience! Bikes are good and comfortable, and the tour himself was really nice! I really recommend this tour because it change from the city center and you can enjoy an another atmosphere. Very very nice!

Sara was an amazing tour guide! My husband and I had a great time cycling around Rome and it was definitely my favorite part of our whole trip! Sara was extremely friendly and showed us really cool things we never would have seen without the tour. I’ll definitely be recommending the tour for anyone who wants to get out of the city center and see more of the country side. It was absolutely perfect!!

We had such an amazing experience with Marice and Roma STARBIKE e-bike tours. We opted to book the private experience; a little more intimate and as my husband recently had surgery, would allow us to be more flexible if needed. Good news is we didn't need to turn back and was able to enjoy the 4 plus hours along the Appian Way Regional Park and the Aqueduct Park in Rome. Marice was an expert on her directions. Not being very comfortable riding a bike in the city, I was a little apprehensive but no need to be. Marice made sure to only go when it was safe and would have us ride a little behind and closer to the edge then her. She also gave hand signals and called out signals when it was time to slow down, or downshift, or put more power to the e-bike as we would shortly be going up hill. I honestly felt like an expert rider, riding behind her...she made it so easy. But that was nothing to compare to the actual beauty of this place. In May, all the crimson poppies are blooming and as they are my absolute most favorite flower in the world, I was simply in heaven. We stopped by the Egeria bottling company where locals can come fill up their 1.5 liter bottles (natural and natural effervescent) for .07 Euro Cents. Loved seeing how the locals live. The aqueduct park was just a site to see and so beautiful with the May flowers. Many locals use the park to walk the dogs and enjoy the fresh air. It is so green, so colorful with flowers, and the air so clean and the best part is it is so close to Rome. We finished our tour with a light picnic (brought by us) along the ancient Appian Way. Marice brought along several books that helped explained the importance of this amazing trade route throughout the Roman empire and about the "rediscovery" of this ancient way that runs from Rome all the way to Brindisi. The mausoleums on the side of the Appian Way are a marvel to behold. After leaving the Appian Way, you take a path back owned by the Vatican where several of the catacombs are located (you don't actually visit the catacombs on this tour). And then finally you return via the Rome streets along the Circus Maximus and Colosseum. This was our best day in Rome and we loved it so much, we intend to visit again next week. Again than you Marice and Roma STARBIKE for such a lovely adventure.

Had a really good ride out in such a lovely part of Rome. Learnt lots about the history of each of the historical points we passed. Definitely a must to do while in Rome. Bikes were great, Instructor was great.

A+++! For anyone who loves the history of Rome, this is the perfect tour! Fabrizio was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and the route is just breathtaking. Favorite part of our time in the Eternal City!

Very entertaining and educational tour. Biking at the dawn felt very special and romantic and I’ve got to see places I wouldn’t see by myself. It was especially helpful to take this tour on my first day in Rome to orient myself around the city and decide where I want to come back! Special thanks to my host Fabrizio who was super fun and passionate about his city!

10/10 would recommend!! We had an absolute blast on our Appian Way E-Bike tour. Our guide, Sara, was phenomenal and made the ride REALLY fun and engaging. Our group was mixed language (Italian/English) and Sara did a wonderful job speaking to both groups with excellent timing. As English-only speakers, we never once felt out of the loop and it was really impressive how she managed to keep everyone informed and engaged. Truly professional.

This was our highlight from our trip to Rome. Roma STARBIKE an our tour guide Sara were absolutely fantastic and one of the best tours we’ve ever done in our lives. The E bikes work flawlessly and really help through some of the steep climbs and rough terrains. Sara, our tour guide, did a wonderful job explaining everything to us. She was extremely very knowledgeable about everything and made the tour fun and interactive. If you are in Rome and want to see more of white lies outside the great city I highly recommend doing a tour with them it is absolutely gorgeous and jaw-dropping!
