β β β β β The Rocca is the remains of an Austrian castle. It houses the museum of Riva with some interesting artefacts and various local.paintings. it's situated in a small park surrounded by a canal. Many people head to.the Rocca thinking they can get to the beach. They don't.do many useful tourist signs here. It's worth climbing to.top.floor to.see the views . There is a lift to the other.floors..I don't think. There's a public toilet or a cafΓ©..shame.

β β β β β A great place to visit. Can get very crowded but we'll worth a visit. At the end of your trip take a speed boat tour were the captain gives you some interesting advice and wait for him to go fast at the end. You will also see views of the castle that are fantastic.

β β β β β It does have a beautiful view of the lake but it was absolutely packed with tourists and the restaurants were pricy in the area.

β β β β β Pretty good medieval fortress. It actually looks nice from the outside and is interesting from the inside as well. Built right beside the north edge of the lake.
It was renovated by the Austrian military in the 1850s. The roof of the fortress allows a nice panoramic view of the city. The area around the fortress is also one of the most popular spots for tourists to walk and relax.

β β β β β This is another old fortress, built to protect the town. It is now used as a museum. La rocca is situated on a small island by the harbour and is accessed by a bridge. There is a nice park with lakeside views.
