Situata in un punto panoramico sul colle San Maurizio di fronte alla chiesa dei francescani.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ In tranquilla e solare posizione (splendido panorama sul lago) la piccola Cappella di S.Pietro, sorta sull’antichissima strada Bergamo-Valcamonica(al valico S.Maurizio), è unica sopravvissuta alla distruzione napoleonica dell’attiguo complesso religioso, ma arricchita con pregevoli affreschi del 1400.
Un piccolo ma comodo parcheggio consente la sosta per la visita.
Non vi deluderà per la sua suggestione.
CONSIGLIO: Non perdetevi (a circa 150mt.) anche il vicino portone del convento, sulla via che scende in paese, con affreschi della stessa epoca(resta poco dopo la fontana di S.Francesco, al civico n.71): merita!
In a quiet and sunny position (splendid view of the lake) the small Chapel of St. Peter, built on the ancient Bergamo-Valcamonica road (at the S. Maurizio pass), is the only one that survived the Napoleonic destruction of the adjacent religious complex, but enriched with valuable frescoes from the 1400s.
A small but convenient car park allows you to stop for a visit.
He will not disappoint you for his suggestion.
TIP: Don't miss (at about 150 meters) also the nearby door of the convent, on the road that goes down into the village, with frescoes of the same era (it remains shortly after the fountain of St. Francis, at number 71): it deserves!
